This article describes how to use the Add on Feature of Smart Location Prompting. This enables additional requests for location from users.
To find this feature, navigate to your Advanced Settings within your My LGB Portal (you can do this by clicking into "Configuration" and "Advanced")
Here you can select one or more of the following options, to prompt the user to select their location when;
- Little Green Button starts (this is selected by default as it is standard across all devices)
- The device wakes from sleep
- Every ___ minutes (this is a customisable time frame)
- External power is (dis)connected
- The device is unlocked
If any particular device is not selected to be prompted for their location (as below), they will not receive any of the above prompts.
It is important to note that in order for the Location prompts to be received, all Windows notifications should be enabled.
